Baby Laird in 4D

Today, Baby Laird had her 4D photos taken at A Miracle Within. It was amazing seeing her sweet little face! And yes, the first thing we did was confirm Baby Laird is a girl. She had at least one hand by her face the entire time and much of the time she also had a foot up there as well. I thought they made for cute photos - but I'm bias. Ryan and I aren't trying to figure out who she looks like - she just looks like herself. It's such a miracle that she has grown into such a little tiny person. We even counted fingers and toes. The sonographer seems to think she's pretty laid back. She tried to get her to move around by making loud noises, but nothing really affected her. She asked if we have dogs and we said yes. Maybe she's getting used to them barking?

Love that face!

She's showing us her baby guns!

She's thinking ...

Look at her hand and foot!

World's largest rub-on

For all my scrapbooking friends, you know what I mean when I say "world's largest rub-on". For all my non-scrapbooking friends, a rub-on is type of embellishment that is applied to scrapbooking paper by "rubbing it on" with a hard apparatus - usually a popsicle stick.

I found the world's largest and possibly the world's coolest rub-on for the baby's room on Etsy. Ryan and I had fun putting the decoration together. I think it turned out awesome!

28 weeks!
10 things I want to remember about being 28 weeks pregnant:
  1. I feel great
  2. I love my belly
  3. Baby Laird moves all the time, but her favorite time to have a belly party is 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
  4. Feeling baby Laird move is the best feeling in the world
  5. Ryan is the best, most supportive husband
  6. Babies are expensive, but worth it
  7. The weird dreams are back
  8. Child birthing classes are fun to make fun of, but I'm actually learning tons
  9. I pack about 5 snacks every day to eat at work every two hours (My favs: grapes, clementines, Nature Valley Oats 'N Honey Bars, Nature Valley Chew Trail Mix Bars and Baked Cheetos)
  10. I am so in love with this child that I have never even seen

The inside of my belly button

I can see the inside of my belly button. All my life I have had a rather deep belly button. My mom seems to think this is pretty funny and has been known to make a joke or two at my expense. Well, my belly button is no longer deep, but now, it's almost flush with the rest of my skin! The past few weeks I have been growing. Technically, our sweet baby girl has been growing and causing me to expand. Baby Laird is now approximately 14 inches long and 1 and 2/3 lbs. She is still moving quite a bit with her favorite time to go crazy being about 10 p.m. Ryan and I have been getting ready for her arrival by preparing her room and finding awesome deals on Craigslist. Her room has been painted and all the furniture is moved in.

Here are a few recent shots ...

The color we chose is called "Sunrise Beach". I love it!
