my 18 month old

I haven't been very diligent about blogging lately. It could be because when I'm not working, I'm chasing around this 18 month old! That's right, little Kitters is 18 months old. A whole year and a half. I think it's about time I stop counting in months - which is sad. Looking back at her one year photos compared to now, I am blown away by how much she has changed in just six months. She has lost almost all of her baby features. She is now a toddler.

A few things I want to remember about you at 18 months.

You have such a fun little personality.
You are silly, ornery, mischievous, determined, sweet and loving.

You have developed a few new hobbies over the past few months. You love to draw and you are right handed. We have gone through two boxes of washable crayons. We just learned that Dax was eating them so we are sure to put them up when you're done.

And perhaps your favorite hobby is watching Elmo. You are obsessed with Elmo. You wake up in the morning talking about Elmo. It's the first thing you ask for in the morning and about 100 times throughout the day. We record Sesame Street every day but you only want to watch Elmo so we fast forward to Elmo's World. You get so excited when you hear
na na - na na, na na - na na, Elmo's World. We have since purchased about 10 Elmo DVDs.

Oh dear Darbi. She really is such a good sport with you. Here you both are sticking out your tongue. I remember about a year ago when you started pulling up on Darbi and she would be so still so you could balance. Now, you love to give her a big hug on the neck, crawl all over her, kiss her on the head and chase her around. I'm so glad you love each other so much.
