Kit and Margaret

Guess who came to town this weekend?! CJ and Margaret!

Kit - 14 months; Margaret - 15.5 months

Kit and I went over to CJ's mom's house to hang out Saturday afternoon before heading up to the pool. As luck would have it, both of the girls didn't have good naps today. Margaret slept for about 45 minutes while Kit skipped her morning nap and only slept for about an hour in the afternoon. So we were having to deal with some "issues" if you know what I mean. But overall, they were really good. It was funny when one would have a meltdown, it would cause the other to start crying. I think it's because they are so in tune with one another and all...

Don't the girls look especially fashionable in their swimsuits?

Beautiful Margaret who has absolutely no fear

CJ caught her just in time before she went down the slide

Sweet little Kit was not a big fan of sand

Let's journey back down memory lane and take a look at how the girls have grown ...

Margaret - 8 wks

These two photos are from CJ and Margaret's first visit. Kit was 2 weeks old while Margaret was 8 weeks old. I could kick myself that we didn't get a picture of them together. I think we were distracted by the fact that we both had newborn baby girls.

Happiness

Happiness is watching your daughter eat watermelon in her diaper
on a warm (almost) summer evening. I am so happy and so blessed.

And so it begins.

I love her bright blue eyes.

Almost as much as I love her funny faces! This is the stink eye.

Look at her snaggle teeth!

Kit, you have a little sumpthin' sumpthin' on your chinny chin chin.

She loves watermelon.

I washed her off with the hose when she was done.

Me and my girl.

Behold the delicious watermelon!
